Teresa Raine-Lee

Raine-Lee was MVP in basketball, softball and volleyball. The North High graduate was named Salinas Valley’s Female Athlete of the Century in 1999 by readers of the Salinas Californian. She pitched the Vikings to a CCS softball title in 1986 and coached them to a title in 1997. Before there was a three-point line, Raine-Lee scored a record 36 points in a single game for the Vikings. Raine-Lee earned a softball scholarship to Indiana University and was named First-Team All Big 10 as a pitcher. She was an All-Midwest Regional team selection after throwing three no-hitters with a season-best ERA of 0.67.
